HDPE Smoothwall Conduit

Encoma manufactures high-quality HDPE smoothwall conduit right here in Elm Creek, Manitoba, using premium resin for superior durability and performance. Designed for telecom, fiber optic, electrical, and utility applications, our conduit provides long-term protection for cables in direct burial, trenchless, or innerduct installations.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Co-extruded outer color (or stripes) clearly indicates utility type, end use, or customer preference

  • Co-extruded colors match full-wall performance and withstand outdoor storage for up to one year without fading or degradation, keeping your conduit looking professional and install-ready.

  • Manufactured in accordance with CSA C22.2 No. 327-18 for HDPE conduit, ensuring regulatory approval, peace of mind for engineers and inspectors, and reliable long-term performance.

  • Diameters from 3/4″ to 6″ with multiple DR options tailored to your application (e.g., higher pull strength for directional drilling), providing a perfect fit for any project.

  • Co-extruded Silicone Inner Layer creates a permanently lubricated inner layer (test data shows ~50% lower coefficient of friction vs. standard HDPE). Reduces the need for wet lubricants. The result is easier, faster cable pulling or blowing; less cable stress/damage and lower labor costs.

  • Available on steel reels (for long continuous runs), coils (space-saving and easy handling), or straight lengths to match your installation method—saving time and equipment needs.

HDPE Smooth Out/Ribbed In

Extruded using the same high-quality process as our standard Smoothwall conduit, with the added enhancement of inner longitudinal ribs. The exterior remains smooth for easy handling, bending, and compatibility with standard fittings and couplers, while the ribbed interior significantly reduces surface contact and coefficient of friction. This allows for longer, faster, and smoother cable pulls—often with little or no additional lubricant required—making fiber optic blowing, jetting, and cable installation easier, quicker, and more cost-effective.
